How to send

Drop by Money Services to send a gift of cash for the holidays to your friends and loved ones. Follow these simple steps to sending money:

  • Find your local Money Services with our handy store locator tool.

  • Visit us and fill out the ‘Send Money’ section of the Western Union® form.

  • Pick ‘Cash Pick-up’.

  • Select your transfer option.

  • Give the store associate your form and the cash or a US bank-issued debit card.

  • Tell the receiver the 10-digit Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN) – and ask them to bring their photo ID so they can pick up the money.

† Date available will be displayed on receipt for international transfers over $15.  Service and funds availability depends on certain factors including the Service selected, the selection of delayed delivery options, special terms applicable to each Service, amount sent, destination country, currency availability, regulatory issues, consumer protection issues, identification requirements, delivery restrictions, agent location hours, and differences in time zones (collectively, “Restrictions”).
