Will I need a bank account?
At Money Services, we understand not everyone has a bank account – that’s why we’ve made it easy for you send money in cash. Depending on your receiver’s needs, they can pick up the cash or you can send it directly to their bank account.
We have provided you with a helpful list of items you will need to bring with you to send money.
- The cash or card you wish to make the payment with
- The recipient’s bank account name, number and routing code
- The recipient’s full name and address, including ZIP code
- Your name and address, and a form of ID
The requirements can vary depending on where you are sending money so try to check this in advance†.
If your receiver doesn’t have a bank account, you can send money for them to pick up at their nearest Money Services or a Western Union agent location. Just make sure they bring along the tracking number (MTCN) and a form of ID.
We work with Western Union®, who can help you transfer money to over 200 countries. With 500,000 agent locations around the world, there might be one nearby your receiver.
